Fragmented Exodus JANET S. BRAZA · SUNDAY, JUNE 16, 2019 1 Read The painting chronicles the pains and sufferings of a family (and other families) of a mother and her child (or children) -who abandoned their home and escaped from the Marawi Siege. their exodus was unexpectedly unthinkable. They were bitterly displaced. They found shelter in a cramped evacuation center where they stayed for two years together with the other evacuees. In their hearts and minds, they hoped it would not happen again. jsbraza/iligan
