The National Power Corporation (NPC) contracted Westinghouse to to build the very first nuclear project in Morong, Bataan. Meanwhile, NPC continued to construct power plants, completing nine major facilities from 1974 to 1977.
In Luzon:
-Tiwi and Mak-Ban Geothermals
- Pantabangan Hydro
In Visayas:
-Naga Thermal
-Tongonan Geothermal
In Mindanao:
-Agus VI Hydro
